21 November 2009 - 27 June 2010. Described as 'imaginative and freewheeling' this exhibition is a celebration of the bicycle and the culture surrounding it in Copenhagen. The tradition and history of the bicycle is followed from the Draisine to the modern-day bicycle. Bikes such as the Long John or Christiania (local inventions) are included in the show. The biking habits of the citizens of Copenhagen are examined as well as the representation of bicycles in popular culture, including literature and music. Also displayed are quirky personal testimonies involving Copenhagen bicycles.
