21 Sept-27 Nov 2005. Loyal to the old concept of the circus, with acrobatics and clowns, the Cirque Plume transforms it into a poetic and magical spectacle, far removed from the sometimes corny traditional circus. The Cirque Plume also turns circus into something politically aware. This latest show is about water, that most fragile of resources, and was inspired by the difficulties facing the Kyoto agreement. The actors, equipped with Wellingtons, mops and umbrellas, go on a musical tour through a world populated by taps and hosepipes. From fountains and geysers to showers, we are promised a veritable ballet of acrobatics, contortions and somersaults.
