16 Dec 2006-7 Jan 2007. Now celebrating its 30th year, Bernhard Pauls Circus Roncalli returns to Berlins Tempodrom with an international line-up of artistes, acrobats and clowns. This years Weihnachstzirkus features Sarah Houcke with her performing horses, antipodistas twins Marina and Svetlana juggling with their feet, Iryna Pitzur and her Hoolahoop dance and strongman Kristian Saederup as well as Evgeni Shmarlovski performing tricks with his pigeons, rabbits, donkeys and foxes. Pantomime star and Roncalli regular Peter Shub provides the laughs with his post-modern clowning act. On New Years Eve the Tempodrom presents the Silvester Konzert des Deutches with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra performing alongside stars from the Circus Roncalli. Directed by Wayne Marshall, the orchestra features soloists Sharon Kam on clarinet and Jocelyn B. Smith voice, performing works by Gershwin and Bernstein. Admission 52.50-16.50.
