14 Oct 2008-11 Jan 2009. This is the first major retrospective in the United Kingdom of work by the Brazilian Cildo Meireles, one of the main international Conceptual artists. Ranging in scale from tiny works to his vast installations, this exhibition includes his famous Insertions into Ideological Circuits of 1970, by which he devised a method to disseminate messages of protest under the military dictatorship in Brazil.
