25 Nov-20 Dec 2006. Copenhagen comes alive at Christmas with a range of markets opening across the city. The Danish Design Centre on Hans Christian Andersen Boulevard holds its annual Juledesignerbazar on 25 Nov (11.00-16.00), offering gifts designed and produced by the schools students including clothing, bags, pins, scarves and more. Contemporary art and unique handicrafts can be found at ArtCompaz at 22 H.C.rstedsvej in the district of Frederiksberg, where the Julestue is held on 30 Nov (16.00-20.00). In Christiana, the Gr Hal is transformed into a Christmas bazaar from 9-20 Dec, with handmade jewellery, candles and crafts of all kinds on offer as well as traditional seasonal delicacies. The Copenhagen Forum hosts a Christmas flea market with everything from candlesticks to silverware as well as high-quality second hand items (25 & 26 Nov 10.00-17.00). Admission Dkk40-free.
