Burton Bros. of Dunedin

1 Jan-6 March. Exhibition displaying 26 albumen prints by the Burton Brothers who ran a successful commercial photography studio in New Zealand in the late 19th century.

The Dunedin studio was known for its quality landscape photographs as well as its early ethnographic studies of indigenous peoples from New Zealand and Fiji, and the prints offer valuable historical insights.
