27 June-26 July 2008. The Buchmann Galerie displays the works by the German photographers Anna and Bernhard Blume, who have significantly extended the genre of staged photography. Large black and white pictures by this internationally renowned couple, who are often the protagonists of the works, stage some temporal sequences, in which photography, performance and painting interweave. At the centre of their scenes, which appear odd and surreal, are deformation, metaphor, subjective perception and collective conventions, which reveal their diagnose of the contemporary condition.
