Large-scale exhibition focusing on Africa's contemporary architecture, art and culture, with a particular emphasis on the sub-Saharan part of the continent.
The exhibition documents how, in various regions of Africa, contemporary art and architectural projects accommodate local traditions while also paving the way for the future. The works on display provide an insight into Africa's present-day art world, through installations, films and models of new buildings.
The exhibition is the third chapter in the Louisiana's series Architecture, Culture and Identity, following Arab Contemporary last year and the New Nordic show in 2012.
Tues-Fri 11.00-22.00. Sat-Sun 11.00-18.00.
