5th International Literature Festival Berlin.

617 September 2005. This year the 5th international literature festival will once again present a wide variety of contemporary literature from the whole world. Arab writings will be presented as well as South Korean poetry, American short stories and novels by young Albanian authors. Visitors not only get the chance to hear many of the worlds most famous authors and talented newcomers but also make exciting discoveries about different cultures. The main venue for the festival is the Haus der Berliner Festspiele. Literature will also be introduced to the public through unusual one-off projects taking place in different locations across Berlin such as the literary night of love and readings in churchyards or even in prisons! Tickets cost 5 (reduced 4).
