Until 1 November 2009. One of Holland's most well known museums, the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag has a unique collection of glass in all its varied forms from decorative to functional. '1500 Years of Glass' examines the production of European glass from 400 to 1900 and offers visitors the chance to admire the magnificent examples on show.

In addition, the glass department at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy marks its 40th anniversary with an exhibition of contemporary glass design at the museum entitled 'Glas(s) Gerrit Rietveld Academy Amsterdam 1969-2009'.
