According to the British Daily Mail, Berlin has some of the lowest house prices in Europe and is a prime market for buyers and renters alike. A combination of factors has meant that Berlin has not been exposed to the rapid price hikes seen in other European capitals. A construction boom post reunification and the resulting oversupply has kept already low prices down. Talking to the Mail Robert Kabelitz, of German estate agent Engel and Volkers, says,
