Geert Wilders says Italians hardly pay taxes

Geert Wilders, the leader of the Dutch sovereign, anti-European and anti-immigration party, heavily critized the European Recovery fund deal and in particular Italy.

Wilders made his position very clear in a tweet: "The Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte is very satisfied. He gets gifted 82 billion of our money, while the Italians are three times richer than the Dutch. Because they hardly ever pay taxes there. Now we will pay them, thanks to Rutte's weak knees".

He continued on social media: "390 billion euros given to southern Europe," he wrote on Twitter. "Madness!"
