Copenhagen's official tourist board, Wonderful Copenhagen, has announced a three-year plan to attract more tourists, stressing the need for more cruise ships, conferences, cultural and sporting events. The plan, which the board claims would create 15,000 jobs in the Copenhagen area,

involves the building of a cruise-ship terminal, a multi-purpose arena and more convention facilities, as well as improved online booking services for hotels and events. Cross-border ties with leading tourism agencies in Sweden would also be reinforced with the promotion of the resund Region between Copenhagen and Mlmo.
