10 June-27 August 2005. Riverdance returns home to Dublin after 10 years entertaining and enthralling over 18 million people worldwide. With music by Bill Whelan, production by Moya Doherty and the directors chair occupied by John McColgan, the Riverdance roadshow has been performed over 8,000 times in some 250 theatres in 30 countries on four different continents. Traditional Irish dancing given a modern theatrical twist and spiced up with a plentiful dose of glamour, the shows have won world-wide acclaim while the music even picked up a prestigious Grammy Award in 1997 as Best Musical Show Album.
