Willi Dorners new contemporary dance project, 404, packs a powerful punch. Named for the Internet error message signifying inability to connect, 404 explores the contrast between glossy images of success and power, and brutal reality. On a bare stage under glaring house lights, 7 performers dressed in ordinary street clothes play out scenes of aggression, abuse, sexual humiliation, drunkenness and despair. The banality of everyday evil is juxtaposed with fractured images from the collective myth of Western culture, creating stage pictures of unbearable intensity. Dancers/performers are Chlo Attou, Karmit Burian, Heide Kinzelhofer, Holly Warren, Jarek Cemerek, Martin Dewez and David Zagari. Admission 14 unemployed discount 15% students 30%. Performances start at 20.30 on 20, 21, 26-28 Jan in Halle G.
