New teaser on the Harry and Meghan Oprah interview: “Shocking” revelations?

“Oprah with Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special” airs at 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 7.

In a preview of the Harry and Meghan interview on Oprah, Prince Harry alluded that his reason for leaving the UK was sparked by the fear of a repeat of the fate that befell his mother.

The sneak teaser was released by CBS as a preview of what to expect when “Oprah with Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special” airs at 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 7.

To date, two promos are out giving us a glimpse into the eagerly awaited interview by the Duke and Duchess.

At some point in the promo video, we can hear Winfrey saying “You’ve said some pretty shocking things here” She also asks the couple at one point whether they were “silent or silenced”. At one point Oprah mentions “a breaking point” arguably conversing on the subject of leaving the United Kingdom.

During the interview, Harry recollected on the life of his late mother, Princess Diana. He expressed gratefulness for having the opportunity to speak with Oprah accompanied by his wife, also pointing out how tough it had been for them over the past few years.

CBS discloses that the famous talk show host will interview Markle about everything from stepping into the life of a Royal, motherhood, marriage, her philanthropic works, and her way of coping with life under intense public scrutiny. The two women will later be joined by Prince Harry who speaks about their relocation to the United States and the future hopes and aspirations of expanding the family. This interview comes on the backdrop of a year passed since they moved to the United States and detaching themselves from the royal family.

The move to California has seen the two sign lucrative deals with Spotify and Netflix. After a years-long review, the queen stripped them of royal patronages after they expressed a desire to switch into public life but still serve and hold onto royal privileges. Reports indicate that Queen considered a “half-in, half-out” approach to be inconsistent with standard protocols of the monarchy.

In what was a 90-minute interview on primetime special, CBS will reportedly extend it to two hours. We earlier covered how the queen was ‘blindsided by the tell-it-all interview. In what can be described as ‘intimate’ we also expect to hear further details about ‘Megxit’.

A lot has been going on in the world of Harry and Meghan, to a point where the recent news of the two expecting another kid seems almost forgotten. Oprah is one of America’s most powerful and influential women, not forgetting a long-time friend of the Sussexes, even attending their royal wedding in 2018 at Windsor Castle.

Meghan sued publisher-associated newspapers for copyright infringement and Invasion of privacy when they published excerpts from one of her private letters. This in part is driven by the unsparing scrutiny they were under that as Harry puts it, “destroying my mental health.” Harry said this during a past interview with British talk-show host, James Corden, that was broadcast on Thursday.
