Berlin continues to attract growing numbers of tourists, according to figures released by authorities. Despite poor weather, total visitor numbers for July showed a year on year increase of 10.1 per cent, with the number of hotel nights also increasing by 8.7 per cent year on year to 2.2 million. International visitors were up by 11.6 per cent year on year: the biggest increase in visitors was from Brazil, up 23 per cent; followed by Australia, up 19.3 per cent; and the Netherlands, up 24.9 per cent.
