Hieronymus Bosch and His Pictorial World in the 16th and 17th century

11 Nov-19 March. The Gemäldegalerie and the Kupferstichkabinett stage an exhibition displaying their holdings of work by Hieronymus Bosch to mark the 500th anniversary of the artist's death.

In addition to works by Bosch, the exhibition features important reproductions and paintings inspired by the 15th-century master of Early Netherlandish painting.

Exhibition highlights include the oak panel painting St John on Patmos and the newly-restored Temptation of St Anthony, shown for the first time in 150 years, as well as work based on Bosch's monumental Last Judgement by Lucas Cranach the Elder.

For the first time in 15 years all of Bosch's drawings held in Berlin are on display.
