11 May-12 September. The Reina Sofia presents an exhibition of work by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama whose artistic career spans almost six decades and incorporates movements such as feminism, minimalism, surealism, pop art and abstract expressionism.

Her career took off after landing in New York in the late 1950s, where over the next decade she produced some of her most talked-about and exciting works, such as the Accumulation sculptures and the Infinity nets. Considered Japan's most famous artist, this will be the first major exhibition of Kusama's work in Spain.
