Twelfth Night

The Abbey Theatre presents William Shakespeare's popular comedy based on mistaken identity although the Abbey describes Wayne Jordan's "provocative" production as a "play about love, sex, hopes and dreams."

Barry John O'Connor plays Orsino who loves Olivia (Natalie Radmall-Quirke) but, unfortunately for him, his love is unrequited.

Instead Olivia loves Cesario who is actually Viola (Sophie Robinson) in disguise. Things get even more complicated when Malvolio (Mark O'Halloran) becomes the victim of a practical joke. The first Abbey production of Twelfth Night in over 30 years takes place on the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare's birthday.
