Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition

13 June-20 Aug. One year shy of its 250th anniversary, the annual open-submission exhibition returns to the Royal Academy of Arts with more than 1,200 works on display in Burlington House.

Academician Eileen Cooper, keeper of the RA, co-ordinates the world's largest open submission exhibition in which recent graduates rub shoulders with big names.

The best known international artists participating in the show include Rosemarie Trockel, Julian Schnabel, Hassan Hajjaj, Secundino Hernández, Isaac Julien, Tomoaki Suzuki, Mark Wallinger, Sean Scully and Gilbert & George.
