5 April - 3 July 2011. This exhibition affirms Manet's place as one of modern art's game-changing pioneers and highlights the impact the artist had on his contemporaries as well as those who followed in his wake.

The exhibition focuses on numerous facets of the artist's life, such as his attitude towards masters like Velazquez, and the many external influences on his work.

It charts his relationship with women painters such as Berthe Morisot and Eva Gonzal
