Magritte, Broodthaers and Contemporary Art, Brussels

13 Oct-18 Feb. Exhibition highlighting the legacy of Belgian artists and friends René Magritte and Marcel Broodthaers.

With paintings, sculpture, installations and film, the exhibition examines how their work has been reinterpreted by modern and contemporary artists, and how their ideas and working methods remain relevant today.

Magritte, a surrealist, and Broodthaers, a multimedia artist, were highly imaginative and pioneering in their own diverse ways.

In addition to works by Magritte and Broodthaers, the show includes paintings by Johns, Rauschenberg, Ruscha and Warhol.

Tues-Sun 10.00-17.00
