Kamarado

12 Sept-8 Nov. The project space of the Stedelijk Museum hosts an exhibition that brings together a diverse group of artists from various regions around the world.

The exhibition is built around the concept of "comrade" and is the result of collaboration of curators between Amsterdam and Bombay.

The works on display, both specially commissioned and already in existence, relate to the contributions to world history by Dutch figures. Kamarado brings to an end the three-year series of special presentations at the Stedelijk, in partnership with art institutions from non-western nations.

The project was designed to provide insights into current trends in contemporary art, from a global perspective.
