El Triunfo del Color

10 Oct-10 Jan. Exhibition charting the changing use of colour from Impressionism to Post-Impressionism, through various paintings movements and techniques in between, such as Pointillism. On display are 72 works, created between 1885 and 1905, on loan from the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. The exhibited artists include Van Gogh, Matisse, Seurat, Gauguin, Cezanne, Monet, Derain and Renoir. Part of the exhibition is housed in Mapfre's recently-opened Garriga Nogués Room.
