Body Talk: Feminism, Sexuality and the Body in the Work of Six African Women Artists

Exhibition by African women artists addressing issues of feminism, sexuality and the body, all within the context of Africa and the African diaspora.

On display are works created by a young generation of women artists from Africa active since the late 1990s.

Their collective work centres around the female body, which manifests itself in various forms: model, support, subject or object.

The exhibiting artists include Zoulikha Bouabdellah, Marcia Kure, Miriam Syowia Kyambi, Valérie Oka, Tracey Rose and Billie Zangewa.
