Barbara Hepworth: Sculpture for a Modern World

The Tate Britain celebrates the work of Barbara Hepworth (1903-1975) in what is the first major London retrospective dedicated to the important British sculptor for nearly half a century.

By the 1930s Hepworth was a leading figure in the international modern art movement, and within two decades became one of the world's best known sculptors.

The exhibition comprises over 100 works, from the artist's earliest surviving carvings from the 1920s to her major bronzes and other sculptures created later in her career.

The show also includes works by her predecessors and peers such as Jacob Epstein and Henry Moore.

Sun-Thurs 10.00-18.00. Fri-Sat 10.00-22.00.
