18 November - 25 February. Exhibition that examines the intense relationship between Ballets Russes and Spain, and pays homage to the figure of Serge Diaghilev through his dance company, Ballets Russes, which helped to shape 20th century-dance.

A display of more than 200 objects that include the costumes, designs, posters, programmes, photographs, theatre backdrops and documentary films, this exhibition celebrates the legacy of Diaghilev and his avant-garde collaborators: artists Matisse, Picasso, Braque, Derain and Chanel; musicians such as Ravel, Satie, Falla, Stravinsky, Prokofiev and Rimski-Korsakov; dancers such as Fokine, Nijinsky, Pavlova, Karsavina and Massine, and writers like Jean Cocteau.

A full programme of activities such as concerts, filmed dances and conferences accompanies the exhibition which has been organised in collaboration with the theatre and dance department of London's Victoria & Albert Museum.
