Art Surpassing Nature: Dutch Landscapes in the Age of Rembrandt and Ruisdael

29 October – 20 January 2013. The National Gallery of Ireland is displaying its superb collection of Dutch landscape paintings and drawings over the winter months.

The collection includeshttps://www.wantedinmilan.com/w4nt3d-4dm1n!/events.php one of just nine known painted landscapes by Rembrandt as well as works by Jacob van Ruisdael, Aelbert Cuyp, Jan van Goyen and Hendrick Avercamp.

The exhibition highlights the collection's diversity, alternating as it does between classical Dutch, Italianate and winter landscapes.
